Good Dog Rescue

Millie's New Life

Millie had run out of time at the shelter in Dyersburg TN, but Ann Ramsey couldn't bear the thought that the sweet young cattle dog would be euthanized. So she pulled her from the shelter and took her home to foster until she could find a good home up north through Good Dog Rescue. Fast forward a couple of months….

Millie is doing wonderfully and is getting along well with our older cattle dog Cyrus. It's been amazing to watch her cattle dog traits come out as Cyrus plays with her; it's as if they know what each others next move is going to be.

It was really moving to see her coming out of the trailer in CT on that beautiful New England fall day. We didn't know what to expect, but as soon as she came bouncing out the door my wife and I looked at each other and knew she was going to be a great addition to our lives.

She's got so much energy and personality, she's very assertive and stands her ground when other dogs are around but she's not one bit aggressive.  We are so grateful to Good Dog Rescue for all of your help in adopting this wonderful little dog. Your organization does amazing things for the lives of animals and the people who adopt them.
