Sadie

Oh my goodness, what an adorable little dog!! Sadie is everything we could have hoped for and more.  She arrived in good condition on Saturday and is settling in beautifully.  I’ve communicated with Sadie’s southern foster mom, Mary Nell Billings, about her arrival too.  What a nice foster mom who obviously gave Sadie a great start.  I am very impressed with the whole adoption process and would be happy to give a positive recommendation to anyone who is looking for a rescue organization.  Thank you!

Mugsey (formerly Mikey)

From the minute we picked up Mugsy from the transport he fit right into our family.  He has the best temperament and knows no strangers.   We’ve all benefitted from Mugsy’s presence, but none as much as Joe who has lost ten pounds due to his daily walk with our little guy. We can’t imagine life without Mugsy, he’s perfect for us and has even inspired other family members to adopt dogs! Thanks for bringing Mugsy into our lives.

Bailey (formerly Joseph)

Hello GDR,  Bailey has been a wonderful addition to our family.  The last few months have been very special with him.  He gets along well with his brother Harley, although there is the expected competition for TLC.  Bailey has plenty of love to give and the tail is constantly wagging. A very happy guy. Thank you so much we cannot imagine our family without Bailey.

Wanted to send an update on our pups, they are doing so great. They love our daily walks at the dog park, are fully housebroken, sleep through the night in our room and wake us up if they need to go outside. They keep each other company and are so fun to have around. We cannot imagine life without our pair of pups, they are such a pleasure and we’re so grateful to GDR.

Bentley

When Bentley came off the truck our hearts just melted. He is fitting in so well with our family and is doing something new every day.  He follows me everywhere!  He walks on my right side all the time on the leash which is great!  I’m still waiting for him to bark. We just love him to pieces.  Thank you Mike for  letting us have him and to Jeanne Duckworth (his southern foster mom) for all the work she did with him.

Bella

We adopted Bella last year and she has been a loving companion to my teenage daughter since her arrival.  She stays under her desk while she studies then hugs her when she’s completed her homework.  She sleeps with her every night and follows her wherever she goes always carrying a toy in her mouth.  So glad she has joined our family.

Panda

We are thrilled with Panda, she’s a great addition to our family and we can’t even remember our lives without her.  She is growing like a weed, now up to 18 pounds. We’re all in doggie school and learning a lot. Panda loves to play and run and is a quick learner.  She is wonderful with our daughter. And they’re inseparable.   Thank you for making her a part of our family.

Bailey (formerly Buddy)

Bailey has had a wonderful first week with us all the way from the amazing experience of meeting him at the transport to getting to know each other all week. His temperament is wonderful. Everyone is amazed at how well behaved he is for a puppy. Bailey has already brought us so much joy. Our son, Luke, just adores him and is the happiest he’s been since the loss of our other dog. Thanks again for bringing this sweet pup into our lives.
