Iggy

Iggy
is doing great and might be the easiest dog to love in the
entire world. He still has his timid moments, and also his
rebellious teenager moments, but we adore him!! He loves nothing
more than walks in the park and trips to his "grandma's" houses.
Thanks to GDR for bringing such joy into our lives. Steve and

Lance

Lance arrived one year ago and has been a wonderful addition to
our family. He now sleeps on my younger son's bed every night,
runs around the yard playing with our two other dogs and the
boys, and is the gentle giant of the family. He is especially
kind to our four cats, and will often be seen nose to nose with
one of our horses. Thank you GDR for bringing Lance to us. We
can't imagine our lives without him.

Rocky

Rocky
is doing very well! He just had his first real snowfall; at
first he didn’t know what to make of it but quickly got into the
swing of things. We go to the dog park which he loves and he’s
very social with the other dogs. He has some friends there and
gravitates right to them. He’s an all around great family dog
and we are so happy to have found him. Thanks to all the
volunteers at GDR who had a hand in our adoption.

Charlie
(formerly Atticus)

We adopted Charlie from GDR in Oct and now he is my shadow. I
can't imagine the circumstances under which he was abandoned,
but that will certainly not happen to him under our watch. He
is loved, cared for and appreciated. Thank you for saving him
and for all of the work that you do every day. It means so
much, not just to the dogs, but to those of us that get to add
them to our families.

Georgia

We adopted Georgia from GDR in June ’07 and this year she’s the
covergirl of our Christmas card along with my daughters Jordan
and Briar. Thank you for bringing such a sweet, gentle and
loving dog into our lives.

Ruthie and Maisy

Here’s a photo of how I enjoy my coffee every morning with our 2
adopted GDR dogs Ruthie and Maisy. Ruthie quickly settled into
our family routine and our hearts. Maisy has been with us a
little over a year now and she and Ruthie have become
inseparable. I thank you so much for entrusting these babies to
our family. Our lives would be so empty without them.

Pearl

We adopted Pearl from Good Dog Rescue in January 2009 and it has
been a wonderful success! Pearl has brought us so much
happiness, she is such a loving, affectionate and obedient dog.
We’re very grateful to GDR for our girl, we cannot imagine our
lives without her.

Daisy

We want to thank you so much for sending us Daisy. She’s a
complete and utter joy! She’s curious, she’s all legs, loves to
play, loves to snuggle, loves her family, she loves her doggie
play group, she loves anything going on in the kitchen,
especially the dishwasher, and she LOVES snow! Our lives have
truly been blessed, and we are thankful in this New Year for all
the good work at Good Dog Rescue.

Salami

Salami is wonderful and it’s like she has been with us forever.
My son Colin and Salami have bonded and sometimes it’s tough to
separate the two of them especially in the
morning before school. Salami waits on the side of his bed for
him to wake up and will not come downstairs until that happens.
It was great watching the two of them roll around in the snow
together last week. Thank you so much for the wonderful addition
to our family.

Cowboy

Cowboy has been a Godsend to us. He’s the most clever and
loving dog we have ever had. We call him "Mr. Smooze." He
actually smiles at us! We are so grateful to Good Dog Rescue for
this wonderful gift!
